OCCUPATIONAL REHABILITATION & FAMILY REUNIFICATION
We motivate our inmates and train them with different skills in order to empower them to live independently and to lead a dignified life.
Govt of kerala has initiated a plan called Bhinnasheshi kudumbasri mission.
We have also formed 3 Special Kudumbasri units(Bhinnasheshi) with our residents.
Residents who are partly recovered from the illness are assigned to work under these groups each consisting of 10-15 members.
For the running of these units, Panchayath provides revolving fund for starting income generating programmes.
The money they earn through these programmes are deposited in their own personal accounts in bank.
Once they are capable of leading a proper dignified life through earning, their family’s concepts and thoughts about them changes and consider them as a potential member in the family.
